CIC
They are placed inside the ear canal. This provides a noticeable aesthetic benefit, as it’s less exposed and can be more easily hidden from outside looks.
ITE
These are custom-made to fit the shape and size of your ear canal. They are inserted inside and are practically invisible to the naked eye.
RIC / RITE
RIC hearing aids are known for having the receiver or loudspeaker inside the ear canal. This allows for better sound quality and greater comfort.
BTE
Placed behind the ear. A small tube directs the sound into the ear canal.
